The 2024 World Tourism Meeting (WTM) is on the horizon, and the Ministry of Tourism is gearing up to enhance its visibility and organisation. This will be achieved through a strategic collaboration with NANTA, an organisation with a long-standing tradition of independent representation of Nigeria. This alliance is expected to boost Nigeria’s visibility significantly, attract foreign collaborations and investments, and instil confidence in our international partners.

Participation in the 2024 World Tourism Meeting (WTM) is a significant opportunity for Nigeria. As one of the most important global tourism exhibitions, it provides a platform for Nigeria to showcase its diverse attractions, enhance its international standing, and position the tourism sector as a critical economic growth and diversification driver. The potential benefits of this meeting for Nigeria’s tourism sector are immense.

It is a statement of Nigeria’s renewed commitment to revitalising its tourism industry, which conforms with President Bola Tinubu’s program for economic reform and engagement with the global community. This collaborative venture is a statement of that dedication.
