Dr Mike Okiro, retired Inspector General of Police and Chairman of NGICE Organising Committee, made this known when he visited the Minister of Arts, Culture, Tourism and Creative Economy, Hannatu Musawa, in Abuja. He told reporters that the 2025 NGICE will be held in Berlin, Germany. Okiro, while briefing the minister on the committee’s preparations for the expo, sought the Federal Government’s support and partnership to ensure a seamless and successful project. He said the expo would serve as a platform to showcase Nigeria’s rich cultural heritage. According to him, it aims to attract foreign direct investments (FDI) and showcase Nigeria’s rich cultural heritage to the world, using Berlin, Germany, as a platform. “The expo, which Salute Nigeria Initiative is organising in collaboration with various government agencies and private organisations, would attract foreign direct investment. “One of the event’s objectives is the attraction of foreign direct investments that will showcase Nigeria’s investment opportunities to German investors and further promote the existing economic cooperation between the two nations. “The cultural exchange will also promote Nigeria’s rich cultural heritage through music, art, and other creative expressions,’’ the committee chairman said.
