The hotel’s architecture seamlessly blended modern elegance with traditional Nigerian elements, and the environment added an eco-friendly attitude to its ambience. I was wowed because this was not just another hotel but a gateway to experiencing the rich culture and natural beauty of Akwa Abasi Ibom State.

The hotel was built to showcase local artistry and hospitality. From the decor to the cuisine, each corner reflects the vibrant culture of the Akwa Ibom region. This dedication to authenticity sets Le Meridien apart from other luxurious hotels in South-South Nigeria.

Playing golf here is not just about hitting balls; it’s about enjoying nature’s beauty while engaging in friendly competition. After my game, I joined fellow golfers at the clubhouse, where we shared stories over drinks, a perfect way to end an exhilarating day on the course.

Akwa Ibom State is known for its stunning coastline along the Atlantic Ocean. One day during my stay at le Meridien, I travelled to Ibaka Beach, where golden sands met crystal clear waters.

It felt like paradise as I strolled along the shore, listening to waves crash against the rocks nearby while watching fishermen cast their nets into the deeper waters. It reminded me how important it is to take time away from busy schedules to appreciate nature’s beauty fully.

Le Meridien Hotel is ideal for leisure travellers and extensively caters to business needs. It has well-equipped conference rooms, event spaces, and extensive facilities for hosting corporate meetings and weddings.

The hotel provides everything needed for successful gatherings, with several meeting rooms equipped with modern technology that can accommodate up to 1,000 people.

During one afternoon session hosted by an international organisation, it became clear how seamlessly everything flowed from registration through lunch breaks.
