KUJURU CASTLE

Kajuru Castle is a one-of-a-kind castle found in Kaduna State, Nigeria. Although there are few private or public castles in Nigeria where people may go to relax on holiday, you might find it interesting to learn that this castle exists. It is said that the luxurious Kajuru Castle was constructed between 1981 and 1989 in the Kajuru (Ajure) village located in the southern part of Kaduna State in Nigeria. It is also said that a German expert who lived in Kaduna at the time built the castle. He conceived the idea of the castle due to its geographical location.

Kajuru (Ajure) town is in Kaduna State, approximately 45 kilometres from Kaduna, about an hour’s drive. It is equipped with turrets, an armoury, and a dungeon, and it was constructed out of granite stone that is one meter thick. The fantastical medieval era inspired its Romanesque architecture. The castle is private and can accommodate up to one hundred fifty people at a time.

Kajuru Castle is cut off from the rest of civilisation with no communication facility (Wifi), but the impressive cliffs and scenery bordering the castle make for a quiet getaway.


Amenities

Guests can bring their food or ask the administration to arrange for town food delivery at an additional fee. In addition, guests can utilise the castle’s well-equipped kitchen. The poolside BBQ location provides grilling, baking, roasting, and barbecuing.

 

 

The Finnish sauna warms African evenings. The castle rooftop has ten tables and chairs. Garden. The open courtyard with the enormous stainless-steel pool, pool seats, and BBQ area with an outdoor oven is the most beautiful element of the facility.
